Audi has had a quite interesting history. Almost a century ago, German engineer August Horch was forced out of the company he himself found because of dispute and setup in competition. Moving on, he decided to form a new firm that would eventually be established as the Audi we know today. In 1932, the company merged with Horch, DKW, and Wanderer to form the Auto Union.
