The exterior receives a modest makeover that includes a new single-frame grille with vertical chrome accents, redesigned bumpers, more distinctive underbody protection, updated side sills, aggressive fender flares, and new LED taillights. Although halogen headlights come standard, the optional xenon plus package features xenon headlights, an adaptive-lighting system, LED daytime running lights, and air intake mounted LED turn signals. 2009 Audi Q5 Revealed
The Q5 will hit the U.S. early next year and the company claims it will be priced around the competition listed above. The specs show that the Q5 will almost be identical in length to the EX35 – but it’ll be taller – and about the same overall height of a BMW X3, but longer. To us, that means it will actually have a useful cargo area unlike the Infiniti. In the looks department, the Q5 is far from cutting edge, although the LED taillights are quite something.

Audi Cross Cabriolet

It’s a more ‘rough’ version of the A1 Cabrio, which created a lot of fuzz in the past weeks. And if you think the same, you couldn’t be more wrong, because this actually is more like a Q5 cabrio, because the car’s dimensions are 4.62 m long, 1.91 m wide, 1.63 m tall and 2.81 m wheelbase. Pretty big, huh? So it’s ok to say that this concept previews more the Q5 than the A1 Cabrio.
So, what else we’ve got? First, there’s the engine, a 3.0 liter TDI engine which develops 240 hp and 369 ft-lb of torque, which manages to take the car from 0 to 62 mph (100 km/h) in 7.2 seconds and to a top speed of 150 mph (240 km/h). And it’s also pretty economical, because it manages an average fuel consumption of 32.2 mpg (or 7.3 l/100 km).
